Resolution to burn
The 7.1 Megapixel resolution allows detailed prints in excess of A3 size and prints without loss of detail from tight, post-shoot crops.

Precision lens
Great in low light conditions, the fast f/2.0 - f/3.0 lens has a versatile focal length range of 7.2 to 28.8mm (35-140mm equivalent in 35mm format).

Wealth of options
An SLR-style Mode Dial allows you to call up any one of 12 different shooting modes. Two custom modes can be used to save and retrieve your favourite combination of settings.

iSAPS Technology

When you need to be fast, the 9-point AiAF focuses quickly on your subject, even when it is off-centre. For full control, FlexiZone AF/AE allows scrolling and selection of the auto focus point from across the frame.

For professional lighting results, the PowerShot G6 is compatible with all Canon Speedlite flash units. Optional converter lenses further extend the camera's range.

Image Management
For total post-shoot control, the PowerShot G6 supports simultaneous JPEG and lossless RAW image recording for both flexibility and flawless 'digital negatives'. ZoomBrowser (Windows) and ImageBrowser (Mac) help manage your work, while ArcSoft PhotoStudio provides extensive image editing and manipulation options.
