The WPN802 RangeMax™ Wireless Access Point adjusts to interference and the physical barriers in your home to deliver up to 500,000 square feet of coverage – aptly, and cost effectively extending your existing wired or wireless home network. There is no need to throw away your existing broadband router; simply connect the two devices together via Ethernet ports and if you are using a wireless router, disable its wireless capability to allow the WPN802 to take over and provide extended coverage. RangeMax™ products are fully compatible with 802.11b, 802.11g and Super G™ products and will boost their range and speed by up to 50%.

New Technology – Smart MIMO
RangeMax™ is an advanced Smart MIMO (Multi-in, Multi-Out*) technology that uses seven internal antennas. The RangeMax WPN802 wireless access point constantly surveys your home environment for physical barriers and interference: The RangeMax router adapts on the fly, adjusting the wireless signal to compensate for these performance blockers. For example, if you carry your laptop from the living room to the study, the WPN802 will automatically sense the change and selects from over 100 possible antenna configurations to deliver you the fastest, clearest connection! Everyone will enjoy consistently high-speed connections, everywhere in your house – no dropouts and no wireless dead spots.
