It offers a three year warranty extension with various implementation modes (depending on product and extension selected; check specific pages by product line for more details) such as: service at Acer repair Centers or on customer site, diversified response times from 4 hours to 2 days, coverage from 5 to 7 days a week and from 9 to 24 hours a day, quick repair times using the AcerAdvantage customer privileged program, temporary replacements to guarantee the maximum availability of the product purchased.
Furthermore it gives you a series of added advantages like free repairs for accidental damages (Notebooks) and priority repair service, free support via telephone, fax or e-mail for the entire duration of the extended warranty without any further charge other than the telephone call costs, the chance to purchase, directly from Acer, a spare battery (Notebooks) with a 30% discount.
The goal of the AcerAdvantage program is to ensure Acer customers that they can always count on dedicated and timely service for three years in any EEC country in order to better use the product they purchased.
Customers who purchase the AcerAdvantage program with an Acer product must simply activate their contract from website www.AcerAdvantage.com, or by calling their country's Call Center and send the signed registration form with proof of purchase using the envelope included in the AcerAdvantage booklet. Acer will send the customer his copy of the warranty "Extension certificate" with all product identification information.
