Brand:
The general trademark of a manufacturer by which the consumer knows its products. A manufacturer can have multiple brand names. Some manufacturers license their brand names to other producers.
Intel
Product family:
The product family is a generic trademark of a brand to indicate a very wide range of products, that can encompass multiple categories. We include product family in the Icecat product title.
Celeron
Product name:
Product name is a brand's identification of a product, often a model name, but not totally unique as it can include some product variants. Product name is a key part of the Icecat product title on a product data-sheet.
360
Product code :
The brand's unique identifier for a product. Multiple product codes can be mapped to one mother product data-sheet if the specifications are identical. We map away wrong codes or sometimes logistic variants.

The Central Processing Unit (CPU) or (micro) processor is the part of a computer where most calculations take place. In terms of computing power, the processor is the most important element of a computer system, so the performance of a computer is highly dependant on the performance of the processor. For quite some time the performance of a processor has been determined by the number of MHz the clock speed was, but nowadays clock speed doesn\'t have so much to do with the speed of the processor anymore. One of the best ways to compare different kinds of processors, is to look up benchmarks on the internet. Please be careful to buy a processor that is compatible with your motherboard, i.e. fits in the right socket.

Data-sheet quality: created/standardized by Icecat
The quality of the product data-sheet can be on several levels:
only logistic data imported: we have only basic data imported from a supplier, a data-sheet is not yet created by an editor.
created by Intel: a data-sheet is imported from an official source from a manufacturer. But the data-sheet is not yet standardized by an Icecat editor.
created/standardized by Icecat: the data-sheet is created or standardized by an Icecat editor.

The short editorial description of Intel Celeron 360
Intel® Celeron® D Processor 360 (512K Cache, 3.46 GHz, 533 MHz FSB)

Marketing text Intel Celeron 360

:
The official marketing text of Intel Celeron 360 as supplied by the manufacturer
The Intel® Celeron® D processor family expands Intel's processor family into the value-priced PC market segment. Celeron D processors provide the value that offers the customer the capability to affordably get onto the Internet, and use educational programs, home-office software, and productivity applications. All of the Celeron D processors include an integrated L2 cache, and are built on Intel's advanced CMOS process technology. The Celeron D processor is backed by over 30 years of Intel experience in manufacturing high-quality, reliable microprocessors.

The Celeron D processor also includes the Execute Disable Bit° capability. This feature, combined with a supported operating system, allows memory to be marked as executable or non-executable.

64-bit computing on Intel® architecture requires a computer system with a processor, chipset, BIOS, operating system, device drivers, and applications enabled for Intel® 64 architecture. Processors will not operate (including 32-bit operation) without an Intel® 64 architecture-enabled BIOS. Performance will vary depending on your hardware and software configurations.

Processor
Processor family*
A family of processors is a group of processors produced by one company over a short period of time e.g. Intel Pentium processors.
Intel® Celeron® D
Processor frequency*
The speed that the microprocessor executes each instruction or each vibration of the clock. The CPU requires a fixed number of clock ticks, or cycles, to execute each instruction. The faster the clocks rate, the faster the CPU, or the faster it can execute instructions. Clock Speeds are usually determined in MHz, 1 MHz representing 1 million cycles per second, or in GHz, 1 GHz representing 1 thousand million cycles per second. The higher the CPU speed, the better a computer will perform.
3.46 GHz
Processor cores*
The number of central processing units ('cores') in a processor. Some processors have 1 core, others have 2 (e.g. Intel Core Duo) or more (e.g. the Intel Xeon E7-2850 has 10 cores).
1
Processor socket*
Mechanical component(s) that provides mechanical and electrical connections between a microprocessor and a printed circuit board (PCB). This allows the processor to be replaced without soldering.
Socket T (LGA 775)
Processor lithography*
The process which is performed by the processor e.g. CPU (Central Processing Unit).
65 nm
Box*
Plastic or metal shell/container for components.
Yes
Processor front side bus
A computer communications interface used to connect the processor to the rest of the computer, except the cache (and possibly other processors).
533 MHz
Processor series
Intel Celeron D 300 series
Processor threads*
1
Processor operating modes*
Operating modes for the processors that place restrictions on the type and scope of operations for certain processes run by the CPU. This design allows the operating system to run with more privileges than application software.
