”Toshiba’s first ultra-compact LED projector ff1 opens up a new market segment of users with extremely high mobility-related requirements, and also again demonstrates Toshiba’s status as technology leader. By combining high-efficiency LED technology with compact design, we created a projector that’s a must for any traveler seeking quality projection technology“, says Gerd Holl, General Manager at Toshiba Projection & Display Technology (PDT).
Toshiba has aimed this new product primarily at mobile users seeking a compact and truly portable solution to complement their notebook for on-the-road presentations. For example, USB sticks can be plugged directly into the ff1, eliminating the need for a notebook in presentations and further reducing carrying weight. The battery operation option also opens up a host of applications unavailable to conventional projectors. This new ultraportable concept features a wide array of practical benefits only made possible with the help of high-efficiency LED technology, so that Toshiba anticipates enormous public interest in its newest product launch.
