5-port Gigabit Switch
A switch is the core component of a network – the device that all computers and other network devices connect to. The Sandberg Gigabit Switch can achieve speeds of up to 1000 Mbit/s, i.e. 1 Gbit/s, which is almost ten times faster than the fastest wireless network standards on the market. In contrast to a wireless network, Gigabit networks are constructed using cables, which guarantees a constantly stable connection. A fast and stable network is particularly important for office environments and for computer gaming enthusiasts. The switch can handle any combination of 10, 100 and 1000 Mbit/s in the same network.
