Product name:
Product name is a brand's identification of a product, often a model name, but not totally unique as it can include some product variants. Product name is a key part of the Icecat product title on a product data-sheet.
560
Product code:
The brand's unique identifier for a product. Multiple product codes can be mapped to one mother product data-sheet if the specifications are identical. We map away wrong codes or sometimes logistic variants.

GTIN (EAN/UPC):
Global Trade Identification Number (GTIN) includes European Article Number (EAN), Universal Product Code (UPC) and Japan Article Number (JAN). They are better known as the barcode on a product's packaging to uniquely identify a product in a shop or logistic process. One product data-sheet can have multiple barcodes depending on logistical or product variants based on packaging, country, sizes, colors, etc.

The Central Processing Unit (CPU) or (micro) processor is the part of a computer where most calculations take place. In terms of computing power, the processor is the most important element of a computer system, so the performance of a computer is highly dependant on the performance of the processor. For quite some time the performance of a processor has been determined by the number of MHz the clock speed was, but nowadays clock speed doesn't have so much to do with the speed of the processor anymore. One of the best ways to compare different kinds of processors, is to look up benchmarks on the internet. Please be careful to buy a processor that is compatible with your motherboard, i.e. fits in the right socket.

Icecat Product ID:
The Icecat Product ID is the unique Icecat number identifying a product in Icecat. This number is used to retrieve or push data regarding a product's datasheet. Click the number to copy the link.
Data-sheet quality: created/standardized by Icecat
The quality of the product data-sheet can be on several levels:
only logistic data imported: we have only basic data imported from a supplier, a data-sheet is not yet created by an editor.
created by Intel: a data-sheet is imported from an official source from a manufacturer. But the data-sheet is not yet standardized by an Icecat editor.
created/standardized by Icecat: the data-sheet is created or standardized by an Icecat editor.

Introducing the boxed Intel® Pentium® 4 processor with HT Technology in the new LGA 775 package manufactured on Intel’s industry-leading 90nm process technology. Combined with the new Intel® 925X, 915P and 915G Express Chipsets† this new Intel® desktop platform enables new technologies to power today's applications and emerging PC entertainment such as high definition video and audio.

Note: To help meet the required processor thermal specifications, an internal ambient temperature at or below 38º C is required. It is strongly recommended to use a Thermally Advantaged Chassis (TAC) based on Chassis Air Guide 1.1 or equivalent.
With these new processors, Intel has introduced processor numbers as a means to identify the various features of the Pentium® 4 processor in the LGA775 package.

When Intel first introduced the new Socket T (LGA 775) processors and motherboards, I was really intrigued by the pin-less processor. Never mind the general heat issues with Prescott CPUs and apparent disappointing performance of the new chipsets, I w...
